What a Resurrection Celebration!

These stories represent the prayerful discernment of God’s leading and pulling us forward

Wow, Church Family! What a marvelous day we enjoyed together celebrating the reality of Jesus Christ’s victory over sin, death, the grave, and Satan evidenced through His resurrection! We have hope because He Lives! We have NO hope if He does not live. The Apostle Peter expresses our worship when he says,
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead (1 Peter 1:3).

Thank you, church family, for adapting your Sunday schedules so that we could offer two Morning Worship Services on Easter. Thank you, Bro. Tim, Easter Choir and accompanists, for your diligent work to prepare to lead our worship musically in both services. Thank you, children’s workers, who sacrificed to provide additional care for our children in both services. Thanks to everyone who helped with the logistics of two morning services – including pastors, campus patrol, ushers, greeters and many others. To God be the glory for a fabulous morning of worship!

The Prism Journey: Shaping Scenarios Presentations – Sunday, May 5th 5:00-6:30 PM. Please mark and save the date on your calendar. Our Prism Future Story teams are faithfully and diligently working to present their work to the church family. Their presentations reflect prayerful dialogue over data compiled from our congregation presented in story form. These stories represent the prayerful discernment of God’s leading and pulling us forward as a congregation into the next five to seven years as a church. Please make a priority of this special meeting concerning the future of FBCH.

With Resurrection Hope,
Cecil Sanders
